Getting started…

If you’d like to become an Urmet Installer, follow the 5 simple steps below which guide you through how to quote, order & install your first Urmet system (make sure to fill in the application form above at some point during the quoting process as well!)

Once you have installed your first Urmet system, you’ll be a fully fledged Urmet Installer, which comes with a host of benefits, such as a Free Lead Generation Service, and your own ‘Urmet Installer’ Logo to use in your marketing activities!

Get in touch with our Projects Team

We have a dedicated team who specialise in providing Door Entry & Access Control solutions for residential projects nationwide; from a large multi-block residential development to a simple 1-way system, our team is ready to help.

Don’t worry, you don’t need to be an Urmet Installer to get a quote, but just remember to fill out the application form before you install your system.

Receive your Quote

Once the projects team has all the details they need, they’ll work on your quote and send it over shortly. We’ll return your quote on the same day, typically within 2 hours, so you can get cracking.

Need to change your quote? That’s fine too, we understand that project requirements change, just let the projects team know and they’ll revise your quote for you – we’re on hand to support you throughout your quoting process.

3.

Request your Schematic

Before you order, yourself or your client may want to see a building schematic so you can be made aware of cable distances, the cable type required, and generally work out how to cable the system.

That’s not a problem. Just let our projects’ team know and they’ll prepare your site specific schematic for you.

4.

Place your Order

When you’re ready to place your order, buy direct with us using your online Urmet Business Account!

One account, for your whole company. Your online Urmet Business Account allows you to place all your Urmet orders on credit, and even gives you Urmet Reward Points on your order which can be collected & redeemed for money off future orders!

Don’t need your equipment right away? No problem. Place your order in full on your online Urmet Business Account & manage it through smaller call-off orders (we keep large stock reserves in our warehouse, so there’s no need to worry, if your equipment is in stock, and you need it, you’ll receive it the next day).

Receive your Equipment

When you receive the equipment for your system, you’ll also receive your Site-Specific Technical Pack.

This technical pack is created by us, specifically for your site, and includes a site-specific connection diagram, along with installation manuals & quick-start guides.

So even if it’s your first time installing an Urmet system, you can follow these step-by-step guides to install your system, with ease.

Need Training?

We understand that you might want to be trained up on our Door Entry & Access Control systems before you install one of them yourself.

That’s why we’ve created online training courses for all of our systems, so you can learn how to install Urmet at a time and place that suits you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Take a look at the answers to some of the questions we frequently get asked by new Installers…

No, you won’t be charged until you’ve received your equipment.

We do ask that you place your full orders in advance on your online Urmet Business Account, so we can get your stock ready for you. But don’t worry, you won’t be invoiced until your equipment is received.

We’ve found that it is faster to deal with customer enquiries over email, than it is over the phone, as you’re not stuck on hold, waiting for someone to pick up.

However, there are situations when a phone call is easier & faster, like for technical support on site, so if you’d like a call back from the Urmet Team, we will happily call you.

We just ask that you give us some information about your enquiry first, so we can get the right member of the Urmet Team to call you back (for example, it’s no use if our Projects team call you if you need technical support on site).

So don’t worry, you can talk to us on the phone if you want to.

Yes, you can, and we recommend that you do.

No one knows our products and systems better than we do, so make sure to place your order (system or spare part) directly with us.

Simply login to your online Urmet Business Account, and place your order on there.

Alternatively, if you don’t have an online Urmet Business Account, contact our support team, and they’ll be able to process your order for you.

There are 2 ways you can get an Urmet quote, you can either…

  1. Click the ‘Get a Quote’ button located at the top of our website and simply fill in the ‘Get a Quote’ form.
  2. Alternatively, email our Projects team directly at: projects@urmet.co.uk with your project requirements.

A member of the Urmet Projects Team will then be in touch with you shortly.
