How to get started…

If you’d like to become an Urmet Installer, follow the 5 simple steps below which guide you through how to quote, order & install your first Urmet system (make sure to fill in the application form above at some point during the quoting process as well!)

Once you have installed your first Urmet system, you’ll be a fully fledged Urmet Installer, which comes with a host of benefits, such as a Free Lead Generation Service, and your own ‘Urmet Installer’ Logo!

Get in touch with our Projects Team

We have a dedicated team who specialise in providing Door Entry & Access Control solutions for projects nationwide; from a large multi-block residential development to a simple 1-way system, our team is ready to help.

Don’t worry, you don’t need to have applied to become an Urmet Installer to get your quote, you can fill out the application form at any stage of this process!

Receive your Quote

Once the projects team has all the details they need, they’ll immediately work on your quote and send it over. We’re renowned for our fast quote turnaround times, we’ll return your quote on the same day, typically within 2 hours, so you can get cracking.

Need to change your quote? That’s fine too, we understand that project requirements change, just let the projects team know and they’ll revise your quote for you – we’re on hand to support you throughout the quoting process.

Request your Schematic

Before you order, yourself or your client may want to see a building schematic so you can work out how to cable the system, see what cable types you need, and any cable distances you should be aware of.

That’s not a problem. Just let our projects’ team know and they’ll prepare your schematic for you.

4.

Place your Order

When you’re ready to place your order, buy direct with us! Just let our projects team know and we’ll process it for you.

You can choose to have all your equipment at once, or for larger projects, it may be easier for you to place your full order first, and then call-off your equipment as and when you want it (don’t worry, you will only be invoiced for the equipment you’ve received, not your whole order. For larger projects, we just ask that you place your full orders as soon as possible so we can allocate your equipment, and make sure it’s ready for you, as and when you need it).

We keep large stock reserves in our warehouse, so there’s no need to worry. If your equipment is in stock, and you need it, you’ll receive it the next day.

Receive your Equipment & Site-Specific Technical Pack

When you receive your equipment, you’ll also receive your Site-Specific Technical Pack. Within this technical pack is your site-specific connection diagram which is created by our Technical team specifically for your project. This diagram outlines all the connections in your system, along with helpful hints & tips too.

So even if it’s your first time installing an Urmet system, you can do so with ease.

No, you won’t be charged until you have received your equipment, so you can place your orders in advance, with the comfort in knowing that we’ll have the stock ready for you, when you need it.

We offer credit accounts to our system installers, so you can install now and pay later. If you’d like to apply for an Urmet credit account, click here to fill out an application form.

We operate an online support service – that’s fancy talk for saying you can contact us via email.

However, if you’d like a call from the Urmet Team, we will happily call you.

We just ask that you email us your questions first, so we can get the right member of the Urmet Team to call you back (for example, it’s no use if our Projects team call you if you need technical support on site).

So don’t worry, you can talk to us on the phone, we just ask for a bit of information first.

Yes, you can.

We recommend that you buy your systems direct from us, no matter the system size.

Simply place your order with our Projects team, and we’ll get the stock allocated to you, so it’s ready when you need it. We keep large stock reserves, so there’s no need to worry.

For spare parts & fobs, you can buy them directly from our website, and pay by either BACS or PayPal.

You can get a quote by either…

  1. Clicking the ‘Get a Quote’ button located in the top bar of our website. Simply fill in the form and our Projects team will get back to you.
  2. Emailing our Projects team directly at: projects@urmet.co.uk with your project requirements, and a member of the Projects team will get back to you.

We understand that some installers want to be trained up on our systems before they install Urmet for the first time. That’s not a problem. We’re in the process of moving all our training online, so you can learn about how to install our Products & Systems in bitesize lessons, at a time and pace that suits you.
